The Chinese character for "gourd" (Húlu) is a homophone of "blessings and prosperity" (Fúlù). With a small mouth and a large belly, the gourd is naturally regarded as a symbol to welcome blessings and gather wealth. Combined with patterns of small gourds and gourd leaves, the pendant integrates delicate craftsmanship with auspicious implications, further symbolizing "blessings, prosperity, joy and great fortune". In terms of design, it is inlaid with 9 small gourds, which together with the main gourd represent "perfection in every aspect" and a happy life. The color matching is also ingenious, with pea green as a complement, allowing people to feel the oriental elegance at their fingertips! In May 2024, at the China-France Cultural and People-to-People Cooperation and Development Forum held in Paris, France, it was selected as the only intangible cultural heritage (ICH) Chinese gift for the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, enabling the world to witness the profound heritage and unique charm of Chinese ICH.
