Inspired by the Qing Dynasty "Cloisonné Elephant of Peace" in the collection of the Palace Museum. In traditional Chinese culture, the character "xiang" (elephant) is homophonic with "xiang" (auspiciousness), so elephants are endowed with profound auspicious meanings. The two elephants have large fan-like ears, robust figures, and four feet firmly planted on the ground—stable as Mount Tai. One carries a precious vase on its back, and the other bears a ruyi scepter, symbolizing peace, good fortune, and the fulfillment of all wishes.

Craft

It is made of solid brass, crafted using the lost-wax casting technique—a national intangible cultural heritage of copper carving. Its posture is vividly depicted, exuding agility and elegance. For the coloring process, it adopts the "Zhu Family Enameled Copper" technique, an original innovation by Zhu Bingren Copper. Through high-temperature thermal coloring and pure manual application, the artwork is imbued with profound artistic charm.
